to swing or not to swing
my son and I are preparing some ground for food plots at hunting camp. the soil is sandy and we mowed killed the vegetation with roundup. I think I can do a good job with the disc on my fast hitch. Question is should I let the disc swing or lock it down. Thanks Greg

Re: to swing or not to swing
The advantage of the swinging draw bar is that you can make tighter turns. Other than that, no difference. For a small plot the swinging draw bar would make a difference. For a large plot, planning out the passes would reduce the number of tight turns.
I have an excuse. CRS.

With your fast hitch I would let it swing. It should do a good job on your sandy soil.
