Cub clutch pedal linkage

Postby Patsprecco » Fri Aug 15, 2014 11:20 am

I've split my cub and removed the clutch and throw out bearing. Even after removing the clutch pedal spring the pedal is very spongy. It won't return even with the spring attached. The brake pedal moves freely on the bar and I can see the bar moving freely on the clutch linkage. Yet when it work the clutch if feels as if it is gummed up. Is there a bushing between the bar and the linkage that could be causing this. Do I need to remove the bar running through all the pedals to fix this? Thanks.

:D Disregard I figured it out. Read in this forum about penetrating lubricant products so I gave it a shot and worked it awhile and it came loose. The tractor was my Grandfathers and I'm working on getting it back on the road.

Welcome to the forum Pat. Glad you have it working.
Be sure to read up on adjusting the clutch fingers. All manuals you need are on the forum.
