Mystery part... Cub or not Cub?

Postby Arthur Dent » Fri Aug 15, 2014 3:13 pm

I found this in the yard while mowing:

Does this look like something that might have fallen off the LoBoy?
I have no idea where else it might have come from, this was in the front yard where not much happens in the way of equipment.

I have no idea. But seriously I think it's definitely a good thinga-majig! Yup definitely a thinga-majig. Don't lose it!

I probably came off a passing truck or trailer. Parts can fly everywhere when they hit the ground at 60 mph on the road!

I do not recognize it as being a cub part, but what implements or mowers do you have that may have been in that area? If that pin is solid I would think a pivot for something. trailer tailgate or bed tilt pivot?
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Do you have a trailer with a ramp-type gate? Looks like it could be a pin that then bolts to a gate/ramp?

It is solid, yes. I don't drive anything other than the mower and the Cub through that part of the yard. But, my brother in law drives his junk wagon... er... I mean... pickup truck all over our yard, it could well have fallen off of it I suppose. Whatever it is I'll hang on to it, never know when I might find a use for it.

Possibly for a light?? Check the size against a rear work light bracket (about 3/4").
