John got this out of someone's barn yesterday.
The touch control has had a little welding done on it.

I'd sure like to hear the story behind that TC explosion.

Re: jpcubs got another one
Johnny's got a sixth-sense when it comes to Cubs; kinda like Barynard's Cub-detector. Way to go Johnny! Back tires look almost new and I'm REALLY impressed with the inverted p-trap on the exhaust!!
I agree with Bob. I'd also like to hear the story about the repaired TC. Looks like something major happened there...
Congrats!!
BTW: Thanks Art for keeping us informed about the OK delegation. We appreciate it!

Re: jpcubs got another one
If I were going to make a guess about that touch control I would suspect bolts were loose, or one may have even come out.

Re: jpcubs got another one
I love that sink trap rain cap, novel idea with what you have. Ive seen lots of oil and gas pipeline vents like that so it will work. And that TC job looks like my brother in law welding abilities. Hes the only one Ive ever seen that uses a box of rods on one pipe joint.
Tractors are like watermelons: the RED is good and you throw away the GREEN.

Whoever put that TC back together could probably reuse a Hand grenade.....That was a lot of welding!!
