Re: rebuilding engine boosting power
Early Cubs were rated at 9 3/4 horse power on the draw bar. The engine developed around 13 HP.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: rebuilding engine boosting power
More power? I have another toy . Its a 1953 Dodge Power Wagon M37. It has a 95 HP engine. OK its a bit whimpy but thats what it came with. I see now and then where guys cant stand only having 95 hp so they stuff a V8 300 hp engine in there tha can rev up to 3000 rpms faster that the old flat head 6. The next thing is stuff starts to break and they wonder why.

gusbratz wrote:i am really on the fence about just getting a super A. since rebuilding my friends this past month it sort of makes the cub look awfull light. the thing is the attachments seem harder to find for the A and I just picked up a real nice set of 2 way plows for my cub, and all ready have a set of cub cultivators and some discs I can't pull
No problem finding implements for my 1951 Super A since it has a 3-pt hitch.
