Snowplow mounting plate

Postby 4evr fixin » Fri Sep 19, 2014 8:31 pm

I got a 54A blade but it didn't come with the mounting plate. Shouldn't be too hard to make since I have a nice thick piece of steel but I'm not sure how far the bottom hole is from the middle hole. Also I know that I saw some good pics here somewhere of one mounted just not sure where.

Tm Tractor parts, a sponsor of this forum, has some excellent photos: http://www.tmtractor.com/tm-tractor/gim ... 4a_001.htm. Maybe this can help you out.

You just have the blade and nothing else?

I believe he's just wanting the measurement on the flat rectangular plate that mounts to the torque tube. I'm not where I can go measure mine

Edit: Here's a thread for you if I'm correct on the part you need

Thanks, I knew I saw those somewhere just couldn't remember where. Thanks tmays that was exactly what I needed. I was mounting it directly to the lowest housing hole but the blade barely comes off the ground. Plus I don't want to beat up the hole.

If he only needs the extension plate the first link has the exact dimensions
