You gentlemen are amazing!! Thank you all so much. I see now the large clamp is #13 and also how it mounts. #12 is either missing (no surprise given the condition of the cub) or wedged into #11. I will dig deeper there later today. I have never worked on a cub before (I have an M, 2 Cases (DC3/VAC) and 13 Wheel Horse garden tractors) I am really starting to like the cub a lot...really do not want to give it back to the owner ;-)

If you look closely at the blow up I did of your pic you can pretty much see #12 wedged into #11.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

I did a little more looking this morning. From this angle, that looks like it is just one mount in there.
