Ready for Winter - update

Postby Randy Tuura » Mon Oct 20, 2014 2:16 am

My 54A Blade is complete
When I got it it needed
    The proper Lift Arm
    Depth adjusters
    Decent Bolster Bolt
Repair of the arm the bolster bolt goes through
    Boomerang Bellcrank Extension
    Flexible Clevis
Pictures to follow.
Tractor now has good brakes on both wheels (an earlier project).
Am going to have to dig deep and figure an easier way (for me) to get wheel weights on and off.
But now there's a gas leak.
Seems to only show up when the weather turns cold.
Waiting on parts; putting in a new sediment bulb assembly and finally upgrading to a steel gas line.

Aren't these little tractors fun?

For the wheel weights checkout http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=29875&hilit=install+weights
myself I use a engine hoist with a chain/hook that I modified.

Yes they are fun...
