Rudi, The tape is made by 3M and can be found at Home Depot in the paint dept. It's called saftey tread tape (I think) :?:

John, thanks for the offer but I got 4 hours of seat time today mowing!! Then I washed Little Red. Sure did feel good to be back in the seat!

Hi Billy, That's an awsome thought, I understand what you'r saying, if your lace gets caught in a pedal it's you and your head that have to go to the ground first!! Ouch.
There should be a health warning on those darned laces!
