hello everyone . i am new here so i thought i would introduce my self. im new to restoring tractors still but not new to being around them. i grew up with a cub when i was a kid our dad used to make us sit on the disc for extra weight while he was discing. to us it was like a carnival ride to everybody else we were nuts. it broke down one day and my dad could never get it started so he gave it to the junk man. that was thirty some years ago. i took him to a estate sale two weeks ago and he seen this one and had to have it. its a 1951. the engine was locked but i took the head off and it had water in it the guy didnt cover the exhaust pipe and water got in it. it has some rust but we soaked it with PB and it broke loose. this pic is when we were leaving the sale. ill post more pics as me and my dad progress on it. right now we just want to hear it run again.
