I've tried planting Kandy Korn and never had any luck with it.

You have to plant really fast when planting it and use a bean plate.

Cole put the shims on the point. If the upright is not wide it won't help. See my earlier post.

I have been looking at a 194 plow that I have and it looks like the upright is a piece of 1 3/4 x 3 or 4" heavy wall tubing cut at and angle. When I go the to metal store with my measurements I will see what they have. If I can get some good pics while building I will post.

That's what I had thought about using. Got some rectangle tubing to make stake pockets. Still, if you shim the point, you won't need the upright. If not you will need to build the upright out to fill up slot it fits in.

Started cutting out the parts for my fasthitch today. I have looked at several pictures and some look to have a single piece of metal that pivots on the front and others have to pieces that pivot and hinge. Which one is the best way to go. I have some more holding up and looking before I start welding! :D

Once I get everything cut I will lay them out and get a picture. Then another after welding and assembly. :{_}:

Here is the almost finished product. Once I hooked it up I saw that I should have used a piece of U channel for the bottom hitchbar. It will get reinforced with som angle or 1" x 1/4" metal. I will need to do some adjustment to the opener because it is holding the press/drive wheel off the ground. The old hitch made the wheel almost drag when I have it on the 2N. All and all it turned out pretty well. :-:-):

All the pieces layed out, note the stop block above the brace.

The opener is adjusted all the way down, I hope a little adjustment on it will cure my press wheel problem.

Just checked to see if there was and adjustment on the opener. Nope. I gotta figure it our from the front adjustments. When the ground dries out I will run it in some soft dirt and see what happens. I did notice that the adjustment that slides on the 2" x 2" tubing was a little tight and stuck. Anyway thanks for everyones help. :thanx:
