Try this: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=87029 The first post gives links to the different sets of data.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Raymond, I was just checking out your Cub Database and noticed that my cub was not on it. My Cub is a 1948 Serial# 44217.
That is all I have right now. I live an hour and half from my Cub and can get the other casting numbers when I am there if you want to wait to enter it. That must be a job for you but is very interesting info. Thanks

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Ok i got a couple entries for ya. First one is my dad's cub. He is second owner for the last 30 years. All original for what we know. Serial # is 122742, Head casting is 2-28-T, block is 1-6-U, Lift cylinder is 12-21-T, Clutch housing is 2-29-T. Next is mine i bought complete that i know is all original that I was told. Serial # is 99717, head is 12-9-S, block is 2-20-S, lift cylinder is 10-21--S and the clutch housing is 12-27-S, Ok for the other two. First one is complete as we just bought it this weekend. Serial # 123804, head is 1-12-W, block is 1-14-U, lift cylinder is 1-6-U, clutch housing is 1-22-W. Now the last one is parts of 2 tractors the serial number we have is for the block front of that tractor, but we do not have the serial number off of the the rest of the other tractor as we bought it for parts and had no front and serial. Serial number is 37488, block is 4-16-Q and head is 5-27-R. The rest of the castings are clutch housing is 8-23-S, lift cylinder is 6-24-? and the block is 7-21-S. Let me know if ya need other numbers.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Thanks Jason. First glance tells me that your dad's tractor has a block and front bolster from Jan 1951, but head, Touch Control and torque tube from early 1950. Basically two tractors put together. More data that you can find will tell a better story when you get a chance.
I'll get your data added to the next update. Let me know if you have any questions about your tractors.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Would love to get mine on the database but not sure if you take partial serial numbers. Can't make out the 5th digit for the life of me. Pics here if you know any forensic photo experts viewtopic.php?f=1&t=91966 or have any tips how to rub that number out of it.

Got you data added to the list. I can't make out that digit from your photo. If you haven't already tried it, the paper and light once over with a pencil trick works well.
Thanks for your submission!

Raymond
Just a note to let you know that Cub SN 67244 ('49 model) is alive and well in Louisiana. It's parked on my property about two hours from my home, so as soon as I can get back up there I'll get all the data for you.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
I've finally got my numbers together, Raymond. Here goes,
Engine Serial #- 115096
Engine Casting Date- 5-15-T (Part# 251341R2)
Cylinder Head Casting Date- 4-27-T "L" Code
Bolster Casting Date- 9-5-R
Torque Tube Casting Date- 3-9-M (Part#- 351686R3)
Transmission Part#- 351530R1
Transmission Casting Date- 10-3-Q
Axle Extension Casting Date- 8-7-Q
Left Finial Casting Date- 1-9-R
Right Finial Casting Dater- 1-12-R
TC Casting Date- 1-17-T
TC Part#- 354383R1
The date & part number for the torque tube has me confused, I can understand parts being changed because of damage but I find it hard to believe the torque tube getting "bent". My engine was changed in 1950 and I can understand why. The mechanic that rebuilt this engine showed me two cracks in the crankshaft. He went through two other used crankshafts looking for a replacement, both had cracks. I finally bought a new one.
What you are doing is very beneficial for our community ... many thanks.
