What is it that you show, or sell at shows, Jack?capt jack wrote:Carl: We drive a 40' motor coach that weighs 37 thousand and the graphics trailer is 35' and weighs 11,000. We are in the coach most of the year going from show to show...at 3 or 4 miles to the gallon...guess what the fuel bill is? We just have to adjust the pricing to fit the fuel bill.

Dan, Capt. Jack makes decals and banners. He generously made and donated the CubFest 2005 decals for us.

Jim, there are agencies that regulate those pumps. If you have a question you can request that the pumps be checked for accuracy. Although, I think the vendors have too much control over the pump parameters. I stopped for fuel returning from Cubarama last year and just happened to check the receipt against the readings on the pump. The number of gallons pumped and price per gallon on the pump readouts was different than what was on the receipt. The receipt showed a higher price per gallon and lower volume pumped than the pump readouts. Only the dollar total was the same.

Yup, Canadian and Australian prices are in line and reasonably close to European prices.. just something one gets used to after a bit... I rarely complain about it anymore, cause it just doesn't do any good.
At least the tax portion goes to bettering infrastructure etc., hopefully.

Prices for regular on my trip to Red Power varied from 2.09 (here in Potosi) to 2.26 (Illinos). Unfortunately when pulling that big a load I reprogram my trcks computer for increased torque, and ot get the benefits of that requires premium, which varied from 2.29 ot 2.49.
