Pitman Rod Size
Could someone be so kind and measure their pitman rod? I'm courious to see if mine is the right size. The knifehead connection pops off my cutter under normal condition without any cutting. I'm wondering if the deminsional size of my pitman arm might be the problem. In the mean time I'll keep scratching my head.

Pitman Rod Info
Now that second reply was what I needed. I looked around but didn't get to that page. I didn't need a new rod, just wanted to confirm that the one I had was within specs. After reading the manual and consulting my father (don't let him catch on) I realized that the lever wasn't cocked back all the way after inserting over the ball. Dad would be one to say "Things will get a little easier, once you understand". So anyways, the mower worked like a charm. Thanks all.
