Lots of Seat Time...
Somewhere around 80" of snow so far this year, with at least 24" on the ground now. Cub does a good job- loaded tires, two sets of rear wheel weights, front wheel weights and 150lb. suitcase weight on the drawbar. Only problem is that I am running out of places to push it.. might have to put the chains on the loader and move some around!

Looks like you and the Cub did a bang-up job on all that snow.

Boy that is a beautiful picture. Love to barn, snow, tree, cub. Love to look at them, but man, I just couldn't take it. My hat off to all you live there. Beautiful but cold.

Beautiful picture! Looks like you have to deal with the wind too, bet your drive catches drifts from the open area. I have the same problem with " where to put it" I started the season by pushing back about 20' on each side of my drive and now I'm only 4' from the edge. But the seat time is great!

Re: Lots of Seat Time...
With almost 3 feet of snow in a little over 2 days along with high winds I had to call in help to rescue the cub. However still lots of seat time cleaning up after the big guns left, and got the cars moved. Plus every time the plow goes by and fills in both driveways!

Nice job! A snowmobile helmet may be a good option up there, you are right in the thick of the lake effect snow region.

Re: Lots of Seat Time...
I don't wish to sound harsh here but If two semi trucks can pass each other in your driveway you're not "running out of places to put it". When you can't get your car down the driveway then you're out of room. I personally don't see the need to have a super highway wide driveway this late in the year. Yes, definitely push snow back early and keep pushing it back as far as you can. But as the year progresses and the snow accumulates the driveway will get narrower.
Yes, I live in Missouri and we don't have that much snow right now. I have lived in Massachusetts and Connecticut and have experience with snow removal both here and plenty there. Enough that the current news reports from the Boston area confound me. It's New England! It's February! It's gonna SNOW! I bet they'll all be surprised in May when Route 3 backs up Memorial Day weekend getting to the Cape.

I have an embarrassing admission to make, Rob. I had to pull my tractor out with my pickup truck yesterday. Felt so shameful leaving that tractor there idling while I went and got the keys to my truck.
I pushed some snow down a small embankment and the plow wouldn't clear what spilled over and all I could do was spin the tires. That's with dual rear wheel weights and chains. We're supposed to get up to eight inches tomorrow. More seat time.

I agree, if you shave off a little grass, it will always grow back. You can't plow you driveway too wide but you can plow it too narrow up here in the great white north.....
