Good old N Virginia DC area. Took me 4 and 1/2 hours to go 22 miles. I'm ready for spring.

Only 6 inches, here. Broke records for the snowiest winter! Much colder than usual, too. Where's spring???

I don't know if we broke any records here snow-wise but we've had a lot of it and one of the longest sustained cold spells I can ever remember. I think we've had three days out of the past ninety days where the temps rose enough for things to drip.

Twenty-five below yesterday morning and nine above today. Going to try and shovel the roof today. Fun, fun, fun!

Although we have had the same low temps as elsewhere and despite all the heavy snow to our north and east, this has been a below average snowfall winter for us. I'm not sure whether the chart includes the most recent 10 inches that we had. Of course, it's not necessarily over yet. :D

It amazes me how much snow you get, Don. That's more than Syracuse. 95-96 was their record year at 180 something inches. Driving around in those snow canyons was scary at intersections and driveways. 2010 was the humdinger for you, for sure. Can't imagine if that fell on Boston with no in-between melting like this year.

Well, to be perfectly honest, we get lots of in-between melting also. We didn't really have 22 feet on the ground all at once. :D Although, the ground was white all winter that year.

Well, you still need to move it when you have it. I just hope it does not melt all at once. Going to be one heck of a mud season. :help:

Joe Bastardi says watch out for a 'false spring,' meaning winter has not signed off yet. His prediction doesn't have winter breaking for good until after tax day.

This pile of logs that I hope to convert into my cabin is buried under the snow in this field. Almost indiscernible, even from twenty yards away. Quite a winter we've had.

Now with the warmer temps then the cold temps were in for a real snow maker?
We have more cold air coming from Canada with the rain headed our way.
Sounds like a real nor-Easter if the timing is right.
If we're breaking snow fall and cold temp records let's go for the gusto.
I'm glad I had extra firewood this season.
The deer are here every night eating my corn/molasses mix. So many I can't count them. I have a little baby opossum during the day. He plays dead when the dog is out. One more pet. I'd like to get a skunk tamed and trained to lift it tail and walk backwards on people. Lol
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
