Yellow/Red Cub

Postby bald » Sat Jul 23, 2005 10:49 pm

Thanks to all you folks who answered questions as I redid my '66 Cub. Am a little scared to do this..my other Farmall friends have accused me of committing a crime..but, there is a picture of my rejuvenated Cub at this site:

Tried to figure out how to put a small 300X400 picture, but couldn't get it done.

Thanks, bald
Another wonderful day in paradise.

Personally I think it looks sharp :!: Oh, I added the pics cause they look nice  :D

As for colour choices, as I said before. It is your Cub. You paint it how you want it.

KyMike posted this one from RPRU and I think it looks sharp. Certainly is original.

Also, as I mentioned before:

EZ is restoring his Cub Lo-Boy in Canadian Nations Railway (CN or CNR) Livery and that is Orange, others are restoring in the Department of Highways (US) Yellow, Marine Corps Green etc.

Most important point, is that it is Your Cub. You make the decisions. I think you made a good choice.

I love it! That is one sharp color combination. I would also bet you could get it from the factory that way as a special order. It looks far better than all red with that hood, but that is my personal preference.

Keep up the good work!

It really looks nice to me too. I have been debating on repainting my '48 and have concidered a different paint job other than everyone else's more to the way I think it should have been in the first place LOL.......RustyNuts

Bald, as you can see, cubs come in all kinds of color combinations. This one was brought to CubFest by Dick Dahmer of New York.

Bald,
I like it! looks great, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you are pleased that's what counts.

Ron
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.
