Hard Winter,,

Postby KETCHAM » Sat Mar 14, 2015 9:15 am

Another hard winter is coming to a close...Thank God!!!! I had a hard time starting my 47 with a hand crank at temps below 10 F.I bought a dipstick heater that seemed to do the trick....I don't care to see them temps again for a while...Been awhile since I've been on here....Not much new...Getting ready for our tractor pull in town ...And all ready started to think about the garden.....I love spring ...Ketcham

I agree. Welcome back, you have been missed.

It has been a tough one. The snow is melting off the lawn to reveal an infestation of Typhula Blight (Gray Snow Mold), a really bad case. Gotta change my fall fertility and cultural practices a bit to reduce the problem next year.

Once again, welcome back, Kevin.

So, Kevin is out of hibernation! Always thought he was part woodchuck! (Hope he didn't see his shadow!)

Hey Kevin, glad to see you posting again.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I've been fine, Kevin. Yeah, it was a pretty tough winter. Except for the part of it that I spent in cool, sunny Florida. :D
