Flywheel Dust cover attachment

Postby JBJohnson » Fri Mar 27, 2015 8:48 am

Does anyone know the size/thread pattern to the bolts or screws that hold the flywheel dust cover in place on a 57 Cub? I bought a new cover on ebay and it did not come with the bolts. If anyone knows it would save me a lot of guess work and trial and error. Thanks, JBJohnson

I think they are 1/4 - 20
Cut a slot in them for a screw driver or use a 1/4 ratchet and extention and a swivel socket.
Check your manual at top of page.

They are nuts and bolts with lock washers. size according to parts list is 1/4-20 x 1 3/8. Many hardware stores will only have 1 1/2 inch lengths in stock though.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
