You didn't state what you needed done to the gas tank.

If you need the tank cleaned and the interior coated, you can do it your self for about $50-. If you do it your self it may take 3 or 4 days, but saving $200- would be worth the effort.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Not sure, but worth a call. Mason's Radiator Service 70four-933-059two
Alton Boyd Radiator Service seven o4-933-066four. Have used both and happy with work, but not tank cleaning/lining. Stroup Supply sells P0R products. 704-933- one one one one. You can clean your own tank, check how to's to find a way.

And if you have any left over, I need to do a plastic lawnmower gas tank.would be willing to buy left over material if practical & reasonable.

Thanks for the info,I will give those guys a try,I know that I can do it myself but at this present time I just don't have the actual time to do it,I would rather save the money but I need to get the tank cleaned and coated.Thought about just buying another hood, but this was my grandfather's Cub and trying to keep it as close to original as possible.

You have to remove tank anyway, put in some abrasive material and lubricant. Strap to rear wheel and run slowly till tank is shines inside. Then take to rad shop. Let me know how this turns out. We can PM phone numbers if you like.
