Air Cleaner Line (OOPS!)
Hello "Cubbers" While stripping the front of my engine down for cleaning and painting I accidentally broke the small tube/line that runs from the engine into the top of the air cleaner. It just looks like brake line so I am wondering if simple brake line and flair tool can be used to replace it. The fittings are still good. If not where would I find this part? Thanks-John

I would go with the brake line.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Air Cleaner Line (OOPS!)
Just to provide a different opinion.
I would close off both ends of the line and then forget it. It's an early style (PCV) positive crank case ventilation system. Works OK as long as the engine is in great condition. As the engine gets some wear/blow by, tends to plug up become worthless.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Air Cleaner Line (OOPS!)
Don't think the line is worth trying to save and it seems to be the consensus that it is not that important to begin with. I will probably plug the holes off as it will make that area easier to clean in the future.
