Woods Fast Hitch Mower Mounting Differences?

Postby farmallcub49 » Sun Apr 26, 2015 12:12 pm

I am wondering if there is a difference in the woods fast hitch mower when it comes to mounting it on an offset loboy or regular cub?

Thanks

Are you referring to model RM42CF mower? I have a PDF file owners/parts manual from Woods (might be available at the top of the page). The manual makes no reference to any difference in the std FCub or a LoBoy. The PO had it on a std FCub and I plan to mount it on m 57 LoBoy w/FH but I have not done so yet. I have connected the FH part of the mower to the tractor and it seems to fit OK. I'm looking for the front half of the PTO shield for mine. The drive shaft is complete. The picture is before I had the FH connection part repaired.

Here's a picture of a RM59 also.

on a loboy the fast hitch needs a "drop bar" for the driveshaft to clear, that's the round 1" bar that goes side to side on the back of the fast hitch, some times the driveshaft may need to be shorter also

TM has several variations of the "drop bar" that you are describing pictured on their website.

It is a mower like this one in the post linked below.

Looks like I may have to look for the dropped bar or make one.
