Cub 23A Across The Lawn?

Postby tmays » Mon Apr 27, 2015 8:52 am

I've seen the question asked from time to time here on the forum. I was using the 23A yesterday to harrow a couple small plots. Here's a short video while I was going from one plot to the next. BTW, love this disc! :-)

Thanks Thomas, a lot of folks don't realize if you keep the disks straight you can move from point "A" to point "B" without much damage.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

I don't mind pulling one across a lawn. Though pulling one across a gravel driveway has a sound all it's own.

Did you ever pull one down a blacktop road? You don't need a horn to let people know you're coming! Years ago, a buddy and I were trying to farm several scattered small fields with my H and his Super H and would follow each other from field to field. His 8' Deere and my 7" IH drag discs made music, especially the time his angled itself on a gravel township road. When my Grandpa or Dad would bring Grandpas Cub and disc to do the garden, Mom said she could hear us coming 1/2 mile away. Thanks for bringing back the memories. John
