John Deere IH Paint?

Postby ricky racer » Sat May 09, 2015 6:51 pm

I stopped into my local John Deere dealer today to buy a belt for my mower deck and while wondering around looking at all the goodies, I saw this and had to laugh.

Gee ricky, I wish I would have known that a couple weeks ago. The price shown there is a lot less then I paid for some at Case/IH.

John Deere is selling a lot of parts for other brands, at least according to what I have seen on other sites. No personal experience with that, IH dealer is almost as close, so have not bothered to verify it, plus have an account with the local IH dealer, and all it takes is a phone call. John Deere dealer is about 35 miles away but has to order what I want, IH dealer is 50 miles away and usually has it in stock, and it is normally at my house in 2 days.

Is that red for the new Case IH tractors and a little darker than the color originally used on IH stuff back in the early years?

Does that classify as camo paint? lol
Tractors are like watermelons: the RED is good and you throw away the GREEN.

Will it make those green tractors any better?
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
