Farmall 100 spreader rims
I just got a farmall 100 spreader. It's in good useable condition but will need a rim soon. I figure I can grind off the rivets in the center section and weld it to a new rim, keeping the original look. There are newrimsavailable on eBay for farmall tractors, so which one would be right for this application?

Re: Farmall 100 spreader rims
I ordered my rims from M.E. Miller tire co. Just a couple of hints, measure the distance from the edge of the wheel center to the edge of the rim. also after grinding & punching out the rivets, you my have to cut the old rim to remove the center, I found that using a hydralic press to install the wheel center in the new rim made life a lot easier ( this is where the previous measurements come in.) I welded my centers to the new rims just nice short welds don't get carried away with welding. I have to look, in my old picture archive's I may have picture's of when I did mine. Dave F.

Re: Farmall 100 spreader rims
As you probably know, the tires are 5.50 x 16. They may want to match the rim to the tire size.
