IH picking northeast style

Postby camptonih » Tue May 19, 2015 12:31 pm

Had a great day Saturday picking cubitis collection. Helping mikes family sell a lot of his collection . Most of his tractors are sold locally. Mikes favorite time of year was his trip to Red Power,he will not be there but I will have a nice load of goodies. Also Scotty's dad came up to pick up a 56 cub that Mikes family donated to a local ag school. long trip for Ed but it was great to see him. Hope to see some of you in Missouri. Matt

Was a great trip, although long. Except for contributing a blood lunch, to the black fly population, it was good. Also, made a couple of purchases, for my stash. Thanks, Matt, for making the arrangements. The school staff were thrilled to get it.

I forgot to mention all of the nos boxes of parts and Manuels and brochure's. Three big bins of the paper stuff and countless boxes of nos parts. Great to have Ed feed the black flies for us ,left us with some blood. Spaces already reserved ,can't wait for Red Power.

My son says that black flies prefer old people's blood. Aged, like fine wine!

Sad to see Mike's stuff sent off, but surely they will find a good home.

I have a 'Black Flies, Defenders of the Wilderness' shirt. The only defense against them is a running 2 stroke brush-cutter, sometimes a Cub in a stiff breeze works too. They are truly agents of the devil, possibly they were trying to recruit Ed?? Resist Ed!
