Fast Hitch
Will any cub fast hitch fit on a 64 international cub lo boy or does the hitch have to be specifically for the lo boy?

Re: Fast Hitch
As Tim said they are different, in fact very different with only a handful of parts that interchange.
Be careful shopping for one, missing parts can cause huge headaches. Things like the helper spring assembly and depth adjuster are often left on the 'donor' tractor. Parts are in the standard Cub parts manual. http://farmallcub.info/tc37f_db/tc37f_d ... sp?group=9 may be helpful.

Re: Fast Hitch
Awesome great information. I found one that's still on the tractor. I'll try to make sure I get everything when they take it off.

One more question.... Well for now haha. Can I have the hitch on at the same time I have the deck mounted?

Re: Fast Hitch
Make sure your loboy has the helper spring ear on the touch control rockshaft. Necessary to mount the helper spring

Ok will do. We are removing it from the existing tractor. So I will make sure we get everything.

Re: Fast Hitch
What Thomas is referring to is the rockshaft on the touch control. You will not be getting it as part of the FH. If your TC rockshaft doesn't have the extra arm, you'll need to buy one.

Re: Fast Hitch
Ok sorry I'm new to this. Yes in the left hand side of my tractor, opposite of where the mower deck is connected to the lift, I can hook something up to the lift.

Re: Fast Hitch
Unlikely you will be able to keep the mower on the Lo Boy. But you can have a belly mount flail mower on a Lo Boy with the special brackets (that I have, spare) for mounting the drawbar. Otherwise there is simply not enough room under a Lo Boy to put both a fast hitch and any normal mower. Even the belly mount flail will severely limit the travel of the fast hitch, the drawbar is in the way.
Mowers for a Lo Boy with a fast hitch are pretty hard to come by and require a dropped pull bar shaft so the PTO shaft doesn't hit the hitch. Those are pretty scarce too.
I got lucky a few years back and got some Lo Boy stuff.... including a mower, I love mowing with it! Few people mow the tops of structures. The low center of gravity is useful.

Best option is to get a Cub with a fast hitch and keep the Lo Boy as a mowing machine... not the cheapest option, but the most sensible one.

I have a Bush Hog 412 (42 inch cut, belly mounted) on my 57 LoBoy with FH installed. No problems but it's a tight fit. The picture shows the right side attachment below the FH. I made the rectangle brackets that are bolted to the white plate which attaches at the same point as the FH. Stan

Re: Fast Hitch
Thanks for all the info guys. I'll be picking up the hitch because it's a great price. What I do after that I don't know. I'll have to look at my deck and see what it is for sure and see if they can both be mounted or not. Thanks again.

Re: Fast Hitch
I do have a woods 59 deck. Is there anyway to identify which woods 59 it is? I'll try to post some pictures of my deck and how it's mounted in the back.
