Rex '48 Working

Postby PVF1799 » Sun Jun 07, 2015 8:13 pm

Rex '48 - Got dirty today for the 1st time since I finished last fall. There are few minor things to do and one major - Change the Hood Decals. Good news is - started instantly - had not been started in about 2 months. Did his easy 1st job today - Making hills for our vegetable plants.

I chose NOT to put the rears on for the hilling - I'll be side dressing next weekend - along with planting corn and more.

I rarely run sweeps on the rear when making rows. We plant mostly by hand and it's easier to walk down the middles.

Ken, it's good to see "Rex" working again. I was sort of looking forward to seeing your Dad on the tractor, but, I see him in the second picture taking on a supervisory position. Looking Good, Tom.
