White Demo Hood Signs/Wheel Inserts?

Postby Super A » Tue Jul 14, 2015 1:28 am

Does anyone know of someone reproducing the teardrop shaped sign that was sometimes attached to the hood of the white demonstrators, like the one shown below?
Or, does anyone know of one that could be measured and photographed so I could have one made locally?

I do not know Al, but what an awesome way to show a restored Demo. Good luck.

If you had the measurements of a C, you could probably get pretty close by measuring the picture.

Super A:
If you go to the IH archives that are in Wisconsin (on line) search under :demonstrator. There is a page that shows how to attach it to the tractor. I have a sheet metal one that was made by someone on Ebay that has a CUB (bear) shown with a cutaway of a CUB tractor. Apparently made for the 1947 roll out.
I think those signs are COOL too ! Don't forget the gold stars that were applied as well.
