left handed cub

Postby cwillisff » Tue Jul 28, 2015 7:13 pm

I was looking thru a book of mine and came upon a picture of cub (no date listed) that was a left sided cub instead of the engine being on the left and steering and such on the right this one had the engine off placed to the right and the steering box and everything else was on the left. Was this a special feature or was it something they released for a short period and if so how many were made that way???

The only ones I ever saw like that had the starter on the left side.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

Maybe someone just printed the photo with the negative reversed. That would be a lot easier than actually making one that way!!! :D

I reabout this a few years back. ANd it was just that, the photo was reversed and it looked like a left handed cub. Cant find the post now though, but it had the page from a magazine.

I'm thinking the photo was just printed reverse as others have said.

Though I sure am curious what LLMARAF stands for? Missing that reference?

Ahhh, the unusual BUC LLAMRAF. Still a better rotcart than the AL EREED NHOJ.

One of the adverts for the Wigle Hoeing Attachment had a reversed drawing of the unit mounted on a "Canadian" Cub. I sent Rudi copies of most of the Wigle hoe literature I had at that time. Since then I found an "American Vegetable Grower "blast from the past" article about a Feb 53 ad for the Wigle hoe that used the same backward cub. I recently added an Original 4 page flyer (like what T&M had posted) to my collection.

Still looking for accurate information for making a seat frame. Do I really have the only one of these known to be in captivity???
