front tire ?

front tire ?

just a ? after you take off the bolts on the front tires ,do you pry the rim off? or does the bearing nut come off? (I need a play by play) thanks jt

The tire (with rim and center) will separate from the hub but it make take a little pounding or kicking if it hasn't been off in a while. You won't be taking off the hub cap unless you want to examine or repack the bearings inside.

Try loosening the bolts slightly, then drive the tractor a little bit. That usually will loosen up those stubborn wheels! Good luck :)

After removing the lug bolts, you might try a 2x4 inserted from the top and behind the rim between the rim and the spindle. You can then pry against the rim with the 2x4 against the spindle. The rim fits tightly on a lip that is part of the hub.
