Gettin Ready For Deer Season

Postby tmays » Sun Sep 20, 2015 5:55 pm

Getting ready to prepare the ground for a couple small food plots. Will trailer to the property, then have to travel by tractor to the plot. Love that I can haul it all in one trip. Like the versatility of the fast hitch! :-)

Thomas, Is anything special required to mount both the disc plow and FH with disc together?

Bob

Bob, I used a bracket mounted on the torque tube on right side of tractor to hold the plow up while the disc harrow is being used. The harrow does have to be disconnected in order to use the plow, but not a problem since it's fast hitch. If you try to tie harrow up in order to try to use plow, it lifts plow up against floor pan

Edit: bracket is the same bracket used to hold sickle mower up in order to use rear lift

Lol. Usually don't see many this time of year. His setup was just like yours. Couldn't see a belly plow though. Wish I had a fast hitch with a disc do do mine with!

I see Cubs everywhere, now that I've started looking.

Tmays, you need to give that belly plow a blue paint job. It doesn't look as good as mine or the one you used to have.
