12V wiring diagram

Postby wwirz » Mon Aug 15, 2005 3:25 pm

I am working with my brother on the wiring of a 1967 (or thereabouts) CUB. It has a 12V ignition system.

Can someone post a 12V wiring diagram or give the link?

Many Thanks!!

If you check the parts manuals (TC-37F) there is some electrical information according to serial number and basic configuration of the tractor. It's not an elecrical schematic but it will tell you a lot. The page numbers are in the 30's for the electrical system.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

The ATIS Cub FAQ's#2 have both the 6 and 12 volt diagrams. These should be about right.

Also, Bob Melville's IH Wiring Diagrams there should be a 12 volt schematic in there somewhere. :D

I was all set to refer you to Rudi's manual server for the Operator's Manual and I realized that the one he has is for a 50 model, not what you are looking for.

Both the Service Manual and the Operator's manual have wiring diagrams for all year Cubs, if you get the 'last' revision. I found the Op manual is the best for wiring, especially for the dash/hood support.

Should be available from any Case/IH dealer.... I got mine from Carter and Gruenwald.

I hate to spend your money, but the $100 or so for ALL 3 manuals (parts manual too) is really money well spent.
