TO Bearing w/ red grease

Postby pickerandsinger » Tue Oct 27, 2015 5:03 pm

Put a new TO bearing in replacing the one that lasted a little over a year….( The Carbon Rice one from last weeks post)….I bought a Graphite one from T and M or Windy Hill that they claim they have had good luck with…..Reason for my Post is that it "WAS" filled with Red Grease, I suspect its Moly…..Just to let you fellers know…Also had to change the pressure plate as the fingers were spooned out badly….Luckily I had a IH plate that I used….Chinese Crap…Some OK some not so OK…. Dave

I emailed Ron at TM, about this. He was unaware that he needed to use the lowest quality grease, and will switch to the cheap stuff.
