Tires for a #100 Spreader

Postby baldwindiesel » Sun Dec 13, 2015 1:48 pm

I'm looking for a new set of tires for my Farmall #100 manure spreader and I understand that it takes a 5.50 X 16 tire .??? If so, would a 7 X 16 tire also work ? :help:

Kevin,

Can't answer your question with confidence, however I think they would work. Check out Miller Tire in Wauseon, OH, they may have the tires you need in the correct size.

miller does repro that tire, they are not cheap, I think about $250-$300 a pair, BKT make a 6.00 16 ag tread tire for around $75 each that works just find

Tim:
I think you nailed it ! $75.00 each for a little wider tire versis $500.00 to $600.00 for a pair. I like the #100, but I think the 6.00 X 16 will be just fine ! LOL
THANKS !

Mine had 6.00 x 16 army jeep tires on it, and they fit just fine.
