sediment bowl question
while cleaning sediment bowl the little what may be copper circular plate that sits under where the fuels drops into the bowl broke off - wondering how important this piece is?? seems to me like it just breaks the fuels path so it doesn't waterfall into the bowl...

I think the purpose of that disc was to minimize stirring up settled sediment in the bowl. I have several Cubs running without it and have not had any problems. I do clean the bowls when I can see accumulation in them though.
