have you considered a new or used tow behind mower that may be availalbe locally http://www.mowersdirect.com/lawn/tow-be ... owers.html. It will give you the function of cutting the grass without the issuses shipping importing and looking for parts.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

That Woods 42 is a later model and looks to be in good shape but I wouldn't pay $1,000 USD for it. Thinking about all the extra costs you have shipping a whole mower how about mailing a mower? OK, not a whole mower, parts. :D Specifically, I'm thinking about an IH C-2 mower. Similar to the Woods 42, but simpler made with flat steel and angle iron rails. If you were able to have the deck and rails and maybe a few other simple parts made locally, with us providing you with accurate measurements of course, that would leave the PTO pulley, the spindle and blades, maybe the mule drive to mail you. I would think mailing/shipping a few parts would be easier than trying to get a complete mower shipped.

Here's a link to the Danco C-2 (later became the IH C-2) in the PDF manuals above. You want pages 6 and 7.
