Welcome to the FORUM. You really need to supply more information to be able to help. Example: what year/type/model CUB (i.e. regular FCub, Cub LoBoy, Number series) do you want to mount it on? Does the tractor have a fast hitch? Do you have any parts at all other than the mower deck? Maybe some pictures would help to understand what you are dealing with. There are some manuals at the top of this page that also might help answer your questions as well. Here's the link to some of the WOODS mowers manuals: http://www.farmallcub.com/[ Sorry, direct links to manual section is not allowed. ]/index.p ... rs&order=0 You might also want to look at the FORUM sponser TM Tractor Parts' website for other information. There's a link at the bottom of this page. The first picture is a regular FCub with a mule drive for a Woods mower.

The second picture is a Cub LoBoy with Fast Hitch and the mule drive attached to the rear of the transmission

I see Ruddyz posted before I could post.

Welcome. As Stan says, much more information needed.

Also, some missing parts are going to be expensive, very expensive.

Did you go back and ask the previous owner for the missing parts?

Top of page, manuals, free down load. Manuals for tractor and implements.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Hi,
If you have a L59 mower, that only fits a Cub LoBoy, I think. I don't know if it will work on a regular Cub if you change all the attaching parts or not. I'm not an expert about all the woods models, I had one years ago. Someone will probably say if I'm wrong. Eugene will probably write again here. :)

If you have the mule drive or bar bracket with the idler pulleys that looks anything like the first picture in my earlier post you can probably make it work. The one in my picture connects to the drawbar brackets to work but this can be overcome. The connecting "arms" from the mower extending to the rear connect to this "bar" where the belt makes the 90 degree turn at the idler pulleys from the pto and going forward to the deck. It's not too complicated and other mule drives can be made to work--for example the second picture in my first post is a Pennington mule drive and attachments with a LoBoy Fast Hitch that is driving a Bush Hog 412 mower. Just need to figure out what you have and again, pictures would be great. Once you figure out what you need, you can place a wanted add on THE VINE, classified for parts. Here's what a Pennington 59 that attaches basically the way a WOODS attaches looks like. Stan

How does your mower look compared to this one listed in classified THE VINE? Notice the attachment for this one is set up for a LoBoy. viewtopic.php?f=223&t=91596 Stan

Edit. Stan beat me by one minute.

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/grd/5437246134.html

Above, photo of a Woods L59 mower. The write up includes all parts.

2nd edit. The mower on craigslist appears to have some modifications to the arms. Any way, depending on parts needed, it is probably cheaper to purchase a complete mower rather than purchasing individual parts.

I agree. It will be easier to find a complete mower with brackets than just the brackets.

The brackets often get tossed in with the scrap metal, which creates a shortage of mounting brackets.

Woods still has parts listed, and you might be able to buy new brackets from a Woods dealer, but it will cost you as much as a complete used mower setup.

It looks like there is a Woods Mule Drive on ebay priced very reasonably. Look down the page and you will find it. Hope this helps, Tom. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/woods-l59-mower
