Helper spring

Postby dwick » Wed Mar 16, 2016 3:57 pm

H ... post&f=1#i Farmall cub, I just got my first Farmall Cub the age is somewhere between 1939 and 1945 I believe. It came with all the front cultivating tools and they were mounted. It also came with the rear tools but they aren't mounted. I am looking for the helper spring that is used with the left handle that raise the rear and front tools. I have been looking at pictures of the rear linkage on clubs. I haven't found one that looks like the one I have. All the lifting rockshaft that I have seen only go to the center of the tractor. My rockshaft goes all the way across the tractor and has attachment bars. The problem I have I can't see were the attachment bars attach to the tractor. I would sure :help: like to see a picture of how it attaches. Thank you in advance.

Cubs were produced between 1947 and 1979. If you can post a photo of what you have, we may be able to identify what you have and help you out.
