Woods belly mower

Postby balloonatic5 » Mon Mar 21, 2016 4:58 pm

I have a woods mower for a farmall cub. Can it be used under a cub lowboy. My mower looks like a model 42c-6, but the nameplate says it is a model 9874. I have little experience with woods mowers.

Several different mowers can be adapted to the Cub LoBoy. First step is to positively ID your mower, maybe a picture would help. Secondly, you will have to determine which type of "mule drive" is required for your mower to match your tractor. This might be as close as the manuals at the top of this page for WOODS mowers. Stan
