What is with the battery boxes they run from $45.00 to $150.00 I know the better the box they will be more but this seems a lot of difference has someone made this mistake all ready .And while on battery box how is it on a lowboy? :lost:

Battery boxes do indeed vary by quality. The best bang for your buck, if you want a good one, is Norm Quay. He fabs his using the same gauge metal as originals and they fit like an original. Several guys here have bought OEM or Steiners and ended up wishing they had bought from Norm.

As Bill said the less expensive ones are a lighter material. You would not think this would matter until you mount a rear work light. The lighter steel lets the mount vibrate so much that it actually breaks off.
