Making my cub comfy
I'm looking to get a seat cushion or cover or something to make my own seat more comfortable but not stepping upto a deluxe seat. I know they make covers with foam for the bigger tractors but do they make them for a cub?

Rural King sells seat cover to fit a Cub pan seat. They have a pretty red and white one and a plain grey. Both are pretty reasonably priced and are a huge improvement comfort-wise. You can also find them online from various sellers and on eBay.

Re: Making my cub comfy
The quality of the foam makes a big difference. Some of the cheaper ones won't be much better than just sitting on the bare seat. Check it out in person before buying if you can.

I got the black pan seat cover at tractor supply I like the cushioning from it . The black gets hot in the sun, but it doesn't show the dirt. T. J.

Re: Making my cub comfy
I have this universal seat on my Cub.

Sure it's not original, but it keeps me from sliding sideways out of the seat and is pretty comfy.

If the tractor supply ones are like the ones Princess Auto in Canada has, they have a lace-up lip so they stay on the seat. Done up tightly, they shift around a little but don't pop off.

When you tie it up with the drawstring it stays put, but I do take it off if I trailer it . T.J.

I have the deluxe seat on my loboy and it is good for mowing but the Pan seat with its suspension is much better for field work make sure you keep the sliding tube lubed up.T.J.

Re: Making my cub comfy
If you can find one of the ones with the orange canvas cover they are a lot better in hot weather, but are hard to find.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
