Demonstrator?

Postby Jason H (PA) » Sun Jun 05, 2016 8:32 pm

I'm a lousy searcher. I'm wondering if anybody found out more on which cubs were Dems or not. As I am putting my cub back together this weekend we are finding more and more white paint under all the red. Especially under the dash panel its all but solid white under there. i'm kind of curious about it. My serial number is 99717 which is early 1950 that i found.

that would be nice. Considering a paid 600 for it a few years back and all in pieces. After this week it should finally be running again. Just have to finish putting a few things back on it and fire it up after a rebuild of the engine.

Are you going to eventually do it all over? It looks like a good candidate for it.

I will eventually. Right now my goal is to get it running and use it. I've had the tractor few 5+ tears and finally found some money for a rebuild. I bought the tractor and the motor was stripped down. The owner before the guy i bought it from ran it out of oil. As of this morning i have it totally back together, but i have no spark. Hopefully get some by the weekend to diagnose my problem. Once i can get the money it will go white

Ok update. I know it's late and I couldn't sleep. After finally getting it running it died on me by the fall of last year. After a long winters nap I dug into it again and tore the bead off and found oil was seeping into the cylinders. So I took the head and I used a file and gave the head a little shave to even things out. Got it back together and she running alot better. I bought and newer rock shaft so I can run the fast hitch on it.
