Re: Lo boy seat
The LoBoy came with an inverted "U" shaped bracket that the pan seat attached to. No springs, only the foam on the seat, if any. You can switch to a deluxe seat. Here's a link to TM that shows the 3 brackets: http://www.tmtractor.com/tm-tractor/gse/seatlb_001.htm The bottom left and right ones are used with the deluxe seat.

Re: Lo boy seat
Just to confirm this;the same mounting bracket works for both types of seat on a lo boy? Stan I would buy your mounting bracket if you were a few thousand miles closer.

Re: Lo boy seat
The two "L" shaped brackets are the same for either the pan seat or deluxe seat. The pan requires the "U" shaped bracket in addition.

Re: Lo boy seat
Depends on which Fast-Hitch equipment you have. Some work fine on either tractor. Others work but not well. Others yet can't be moved between the two models. Tell us what you have and we can be more specific.

Re: Lo boy seat
The curved tubular frame at #17 in the parts diagram is just 1/2" Schedule 40 pipe. With one to use as the pattern, a good industrial electrician could bend one for you.

Re: Lo boy seat
This is just off the top of my head, but I think it accurately covers the question.
#38 disc
IH had different hitches for Farmall vs. Lo-Boy. Lo-Boy hitch won't work on a Farmall. Other way will mount but you will have trouble keeping the front wheels on the ground.
2 single bottom plows
Fast-Hitch moldboard plow works on both. Belly mount disk plow won't fit Lo-Boy.
a spring tooth harow or light cultivator
Should work on either.
Howard rotovator but no despeeder
Don't know if there are differences for the Lo-Boy. Depends on soil as to whether it is useful on either tractor without the despeeder.
front blade
Mounting frame will be too low to the ground, may be front tire clearance problem. I think people have switched both ways but not really satisfactory. Can't belly mount on Lo-Boy.
