Carrier Question

Postby CTHusker » Sat Jul 16, 2016 4:03 pm

First of all, forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong section or if this topic has been talked about before. I'm kinda new to this. My question is, why is the weight capacity of the carriers installed on a lo-boy (not series) 175 pounds while a club is rated at 350 pounds? I would think that the Lo-boy would have a higher rating given the lower center of gravity. Just something I was trying to figure out. Thanks in advance.

Hitch point of the Lowboy Fast Hitch is further back from the centerline of the rear wheels than a regular Cub therefore the load is further away and needs to be reduced.
