sediment bowl replacement

Postby brichter » Mon Jul 18, 2016 9:43 pm

I remember a post where someone had replaced the sediment bowl with a brass shutoff valve and line to the carb. Could someone please tell me where I could find the materials he used or point me to the post. I would like to try replacing one and running it for a while before I go wild and do the entire herd. Thanks,

Billy Ray,

This is Rudi's post. But unfortunately, the photos are not visible.

Hardware store for plumbing parts such as fittings and ball valve. Auto parts store if you use a brake line for the fuel line.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Hi BR, I recently added this 1/8 quick open valve to my Cub LoBoy. Works good, no problems. Now I can just leave the OEM valve on and use the quick open valve to turn off the fuel. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=93299

:Dito: I agree completely with Boss Hog, that's why I kept the OEM valve/screen/sediment bowl and added the valve downstream, the best of both situations, IMHO. Stan
