Checked the hubs on my standard Cub. Easy task putting the zerk between the two wheel bearings.

Will put that on my old coot winter to do list.

As I previously stated, I put zerks in the hubs of my 2 wheeled trailer, perhaps 15 or 17 years ago. Couple shots of grease several times a year, good to go.
I have an excuse. CRS.

My problem, Eugene, is that my winter "to do" list, is about 16 months long!

I prioritize my "to do" list. If the task has been on my list for 6 months - It doesn't need to be completed.

Also keep the "to do" list on the computer; one line, double spaced, single page. If I add a new task at the top of the list, the task at the bottom list disappears.

At my age, with my physical problems, I spend most of my working hours napping or sitting it the easy chair.

"to do" lists, manage to re-prioritize themselves, for me, without the help of a computer!

My super duper computerized "to do" list has a fault. If I accomplish and eliminate an item or two near the top of the list, older items from page two suddenly appear on page one. Darn computers.

If I kept paper "to do" lists when thing reached the bottom of the list, I'd place that part of the list in Monday mornings trash pickup. Trash picked up, problem solved.

I'm not convinced a zerk on the front hubs is needed or even that beneficial. But if for some reason (such as expected frequent/full dunkings) I thought I wanted them, I would probably see if I could fit them in the dust cap near the flange so it didn't stick out endwise. That way, they are less likely to hit something while fresh grease would be forced through both bearings rather than being able to take a shortcut through one bearing and out the seal.
