Spoke to Berlin, today. He said he may be leaving the rehab place, on Thursday. Hasn't been active on the forum, because his braces make it difficult to se his I-pad, and his casted arm, makes holding it up, to where he can see it, difficult. The back and neck braces may be coming off, Thursday, so he'll be more able to use the I-pad. He's made remarkable progress, so far!

So glad to hear you're home and making good progress. I don't think there's been a time since your accident that I was on a tractor and I didn't think of you.

Keep it up!
Clint

Thanks for the encouraging words, I went to my friends shop yesterday and looked at the IH 240 that got me then went down a hill and into the trees, Iheard it hit but at that point was down for the count until resque squad got there to haul me away. The tractor is not pretty, bolster engine and bell housing are destroyed . We have taken the engine Carlisle Pa to my son inlaw's machine shop , also located bolster, engine and bell housing at Wengers in Myerstown Pa . I still need to find a few misc parts to have everything that I need to rebuild it. It probably is not cost effective to rebuild it, however it is a 40 hp 3 point tractor and so I decided to go aheah and rebuild. Engine will be completly rebuilt by son in laws machine shop. I did not take pics yesterday but will soon and post.

Glad to hear your back home and on the mend. Plenty of use new guys here that need words of experience. I was really new here when your accident happened.

Found it interesting that you went back to the tractor that got you so fast. That says a lot for your character. Years ago there was an accident with a giant scale model piper cub my ex-father in law and I were working on. He was seriously injured (cut his arm about half off), but it took me a long time before I wanted to go near that airplane to finish it.

If any good at all can come from this, maybe it's awareness for all of us. For me, I have been highly safety aware while I've been working on the Cub.

Hope your recovery continues to be a speedy one and 100% back to full duty.
WV Mike
