Rockshaft lift bar

Postby danmac98@msn.com » Mon Sep 19, 2016 6:01 pm

Just purchased my first Cub 1949 and want to replace the Rockshaft lift bar (it is missing) but can't seem to determine if my Cub takes the Rockshaft Lift Bar Straight or offset style. The only thing that I was able to find was that the long wrap around hood and tank support has the offset and the short the straight. Am I on the right track that my 1949 with short wrap around hood and tank support requires a straight rod or is there something else I'm not understanding. Thanks for any help you can provide for this newbie Cub owner

Yes, short wrap takes the straight rod. The offset bar is just to get around the long wrap.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
