Cub Toolbar Pics Needed

Postby Brandon Webb » Mon Jan 02, 2017 7:07 pm

Well I've been looking for a set of short toolbars for the 4 sweep front section. After much research I've discovered they made at least 3 different part numbers (and lengths) for the toolbars. In 47 they were long and changed in 1948 to a different part number for an unknown reason. Then later a part number listed for the 6 section front, and then another number listed for what I assume is the short 4 sweep section. At this point I'm not sure if they even made a short set as I'm going by drawings from the owners manuals. What I'm looking for is the super short toolbars like in the first picture below. I was wondering if anyone out there actually has a short set they could post pictures and measurements of. I would cut a long set down if I knew what was correct. I found an odd set that appears to be totally different they have a large space between the mount and the bend. They are the second picture. I'm not sure what they are. Thanks

Brandon, I thought the Farmall A used the shorter bars. Don't know if they are the same for a Cub. Good Luck, Frank
